We start with a consultation to check laser is right for your skin and hair, talk through your areas and plan your course. Laser consultations are £10.
Laser diode uses a beam of light that is drawn to the pigment (colour) in the hair. The light travels down to the root and turns into heat, which damages the follicle so it is less able to grow hair again.
Hair grows in cycles, and the laser can only treat hairs in their active growing stage. That's why a course of sessions, spaced a few weeks apart, catches every hair as it comes through.
Most clients see a big reduction in hair after a full course. A top-up session now and then keeps results looking their best.
What does it feel like?
Most clients describe it as a warm flicking sensation. Our diode has built-in cooling to keep you comfortable throughout.
Who is it best for?
Laser diode works best on darker hair, because the laser needs pigment in the hair to target. Every new client has a consultation before their first treatment.

Before & after
- Shave the area 24 hours before your session
- Don't wax, pluck, thread or use hair removal cream for 4 weeks before
- Avoid sun, sunbeds and fake tan on the area for 2 weeks before
- Come with clean skin, with no deodorant, lotion or make-up on the area
- Wear SPF 30 or higher on treated areas and avoid the sun
- Avoid hot baths, saunas, the gym and swimming for 24 to 48 hours
- Don't wax or pluck between sessions. Shaving is fine
- Treated hairs shed over the next 1 to 3 weeks. This is normal
