What is dermal filler?
Dermal fillers are a gel made from hyaluronic acid, a substance found naturally in your skin that holds moisture and gives skin its plumpness. Placed carefully under the skin, filler can restore volume lost with age, balance your features and add shape where you'd like it.
Every treatment starts with a consultation, where we talk through what you'd like to change, look at your face as a whole, and agree a plan together.

We talk through your goals, check your medical history and agree a plan. Aesthetics consultations are £20.
- Your appointment takes around [45 to 60] minutes
- Numbing cream is applied, and most fillers also contain a local anaesthetic
- You'll see a difference straight away
- Some swelling, tenderness or bruising for a few days is normal
- Your final result settles at around 2 weeks
Filler is gradually broken down by the body, so results usually last between 6 and 18 months, depending on the area and product.

- Avoid touching or pressing the area for 6 hours
- No make-up on the area for 12 hours
- Avoid exercise, saunas, heat and alcohol for 24 hours
- Avoid dental work for 2 weeks
- Contact us straight away if you notice unusual pain, or skin turning white or dusky in the treated area
- Over 18s only, by law
- Demi is trained in complication management
- Hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved if ever needed
